Wild Paws is very proud to be a part of this amazing project which highlights many different sanctuaries across the country.
When we rescued the Fab 4 foxes, our hope was that at some point the two pairs could all live in the same space.
We received a call from Humane Society investigators regarding a large confiscation case in which approximately 80 animals had to find placement and we were able to commit to taking in 4 of the foxes.

In a few months, it will be two years since Daphne arrived at Wild Paws. How is she doing now?
Anyone who cares for a loved one with special needs knows that a roller coaster of experiences and emotions accompanies that relationship. Daphne, our special needs coyote, arrived in August of 2023. Mostly blind and plagued by a neurological disorder, Daphne’s well-being presents in fits and starts.
The veterinary exam is a vital part of ensuring that our residents live a long and healthy life and that any health concerns are caught early and treated appropriately.
Sightings of coyotes in urban areas are increasing but their presence can have a positive impact on the local ecosystem. Coexisting with coyotes can be as simple as taking precautions to reduce close encounters with them.
